As the story goes these thieves robbed homes stricken with the plague and mysteriously never contracted the illness. When they were eventually caught, bewildered law enforcement offered them their freedom in exchange for the secret to avoiding infection from the plague. They complied and the recipe for Four Thieves tonic has been disinfecting and protecting households ever since.

The scent is a strong medicinal herbal brew that contains rosemary, witch hazel, sage, lavender, black pepper, thyme, oregano, and other herbaceous friends that make up my unique take on the Four Thieves tonic.
